About the role
Our client is seeking a newly or recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their finance team on a three‑month fixed‑term contract. This role offers hands‑on industry experience in a fast‑paced environment, allowing you to apply your technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with month‑end close and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support financial analysis and management reporting.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Support financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.
Required profile
- CA(SA) – newly or recently qualified.
- Completed SAICA articles.
- Immediate availability.
- Preferably based in Cape Town.
Required skills
- Technical accounting knowledge.
- Financial reporting expertise.
- Understanding of IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills.
