Network Security Specialist – Cloud Networking & IaC

About the role

Sun International is looking for a Network Security Specialist to protect its hybrid on‑premise and cloud environments. You will design, implement and automate security controls while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Secure hybrid network infrastructures across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation, IAM and encryption solutions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and ARM.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and maintain DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor threats with SIEM/SOAR platforms, perform traffic analysis and respond to incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, audits and ensure adherence to Zero Trust principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in network and/or cloud security.
• Deep knowledge of routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD‑WAN and hybrid connectivity.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and hybrid identity management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or Terraform Associate are preferred.
