Multiskilled Machine Operator – Canning Line

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable multiskilled machine operator to join our production team on the canning line. You will operate and monitor several machines, ensuring efficient output while upholding the highest quality, safety, and food hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate multiple canning line machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot minor faults.
• Conduct routine quality checks throughout production.
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
• Minimise downtime and production waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams.
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Proven experience on multiple canning line machines.
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Reliability, quality focus, and safety consciousness.
