About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Consultant to deliver a positive customer experience while supporting sales and service initiatives. The role blends consultative selling, order processing, and issue resolution to help customers navigate our product portfolio and maintain long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, solution‑focused service, directing customers to the appropriate channels and adhering to quality standards.
• Deliver advanced product and service information, answering basic inquiries and identifying sales opportunities.
• Record and process custom or special orders, managing ambiguous delivery expectations.
• Handle basic issue escalations promptly, obtaining managerial approvals when required.
• Prospect new customers through phone or in‑person calls, acting as the first point of contact for queries and complaints.
• Update the CRM system after each interaction to maintain accurate data for retention and business development.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements and capture detailed notes.
• Support renewals by providing exceptional service that encourages continued product use.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory codes, and procedural standards.
• Participate in personal capability building through training, coaching, and industry education.
