Offset Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

Van Son Inks & Graphics South Africa is seeking an experienced Offset Technical Sales Specialist to join its team. The role requires a printing professional who understands the pressroom, can engage confidently with printers and production teams, and has the commercial ability to develop and grow customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Grow sales within the commercial and packaging offset printing sectors.
• Provide technical support and practical pressroom solutions, including product trials and press evaluations.
• Develop new business and expand existing key accounts while supporting customers with inks, coatings and consumables.
• Identify opportunities to improve print performance, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with technical, colour‑matching and operations teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of sheetfed offset printing and practical understanding of offset inks, coatings and pressroom chemistry.
• Experience in printing, technical service or technical sales, with confidence to work directly with printers, production managers and business owners.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability, combined with a commercial mindset and customer‑focused approach.
• Technical printing experience is essential; experience with conventional, UV and LED offset applications is an advantage.
