MPRP Administrator

About the role

Thungela Resources is seeking a diligent MPRP Administrator to provide professional administrative, secretarial and office‑management support to the Mining Property Rights & Permits (MPRP) team. The role also offers limited support to the Head of Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient filing system for hard‑copy and electronic documents, ensuring timely upload of licences, agreements, property transfer information and other critical records.
• Prepare, organise, bind and scan submission documents, and develop a database for storing briefs, financial records and related files.
• Process municipal rates, taxes, invoices and property‑related accounts across operations within the MPRP scope.
• Receive quotations, raise purchase requisitions, track order numbers and communicate with suppliers using SAP.
• Coordinate legal firm invoicing schedules, capture and file agreements, NDAs, MOUs and maintain related schedules.
• Assist with record‑keeping of mineral and property agreements, tracking expiry and compliance dates.
• Support stakeholder engagements and related administrative functions for the MPRP team.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documentation.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• SAP (for purchase requisitions and order tracking).
