Millwright – Plant Maintenance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our plant maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of both electrical and mechanical equipment through proactive and reactive maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns and failures during shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Execute planned maintenance work during shutdowns.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance plant reliability.
• Complete and submit work orders and maintenance reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and optimisation of plant equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and problem‑solving initiatives.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to follow safety, quality and operational procedures rigorously.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and reliability.
