Microsoft Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft Security Specialist to design, implement and operate security solutions across the Microsoft security stack for enterprise‑scale clients. This remote position is with a high‑performance Microsoft partner serving blue‑chip organisations in cloud and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and Entra ID.
• Secure Azure IaaS workloads – VMs, networking and platform services.
• Run security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex security incidents across Microsoft environments.
• Define and evolve security policies, standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior security consultants on high‑impact projects.
• Contribute to the development of next‑gen security offerings and solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and Entra ID.
• Deep understanding of Azure IaaS and cloud security architecture.
• Strong grounding in network security, endpoint security, IAM and SOC operations.
• Proven experience conducting security assessments and managing vulnerabilities.
• Ability to translate complex security risks into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and client‑facing interactions.
• Continuous‑learning mindset focused on emerging threats.
