MFC Sales Agent

About the role

Sales agents at Old Mutual build and maintain their own client base, market and sell the company’s financial products, and help improve the financial wellbeing of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire new clients in the assigned area.
• Promote and sell Old Mutual’s range of financial products.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing service.
• Contribute to the financial education and wellbeing of the community.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
• 6‑12 months sales or retail experience (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication, numeracy and customer‑service orientation.
• High energy, target‑driven and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle setbacks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp and other digital communication tools.
• Basic use of sales software and data analysis tools.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new technology quickly.
