Account/Project Manager - Key Accounts

About the role

Medinox seeks a senior, commercially‑mindful Account/Project Manager to own relationships with select key accounts. The role blends senior‑level relationship management and commercial growth with internal project orchestration, requiring frequent interaction with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end relationship with key customers, building senior‑level contacts across buying, marketing, supply chain and executive functions.
• Identify and convert growth opportunities, meeting clear targets and KPIs for basket size and range expansion.
• Prepare and present senior/board‑level reviews such as QBRs, category and trading reviews.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and range extensions within company margin guidelines.
• Act as the single internal point of contact for all projects related to allocated accounts, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet commitments.
• Maintain a live project tracker, flag risks early and communicate capacity and delivery boundaries clearly to customers.

Required profile

• 5+ years in account management, key‑account management or client‑facing project management, preferably with large corporate accounts.
• Strong project‑management capability, able to run multiple concurrent workstreams without formal authority.
• Confident, assertive communicator comfortable at senior/executive level and able to set boundaries diplomatically.
• Own transport and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
• High attention to detail, especially regarding regulatory and compliance touchpoints.
