About the role

The Meetings & Events Manager will lead the strategic initiatives of the Meetings & Events department, supporting business expansion and cultural evolution across the property. This role is responsible for delivering memorable guest experiences while fostering an empowered team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the Meetings & Events department, maintaining high standards for client and guest experiences.
• Proactively maximize client and guest satisfaction through responsive enquiry handling and problem resolution.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies, track metrics, and maintain reporting tools aligned with targets.
• Manage the team lifecycle, promoting growth, development, and performance while reflecting company culture.
• Prepare and control the departmental budget, achieving sales targets and productivity goals.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design programmes that drive sales and profitability, incorporating environmental considerations.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, due‑diligence requirements, and audit documentation.
