About the role
Our client, a fast‑growing national laboratory network, is seeking qualified Medical Technologists to join teams across South Africa. The role involves delivering accurate pathology results while supporting a high‑volume laboratory environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage staff and laboratory stock, including timely ordering of supplies.
- Work day and night shifts in a high‑pressure setting.
- Produce efficient and accurate pathology results.
- Implement and uphold good laboratory practices.
- Foster team cohesion and provide leadership to large teams.
- Liaise with doctors to address queries on pathology results.
- Collaborate with executive management on laboratory operations.
Required profile
- HPCSA registration.
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience.
- Extensive experience handling large volumes of blood specimens daily.
- Previous experience in a major laboratory handling high specimen throughput.
