Content Compliance Specialist, EMEA

About the role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Content Compliance Specialist for its EMEA region, based in Cape Town, South Africa. The role supports the review and approval of advertising, promotional materials and claims, acting as a moderator in the copy approval process. It works closely with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and other stakeholders to keep content compliant, documentation audit-ready and processes efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and moderate copy approval workflows for advertising, promotional materials and claims
• Review submissions for quality and completeness, assign reviewers, run review meetings and track follow-up actions
• Maintain complete, accurate, audit-ready records in line with procedures and quality requirements
• Support SOP implementation, audits, CAPAs and other quality and compliance initiatives
• Contribute to operational reporting and improve submission quality, cycle times and process efficiency
• Partner with colleagues across multiple EMEA markets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Content Review, Marketing Operations or another regulated environment
• Experience with approval workflows, documentation controls and compliance processes
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
