Medical Science Liaison – Democratic Republic of Congo

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as the scientific bridge between the healthcare community and the client pharmaceutical company. Based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the MSL provides accurate medical information, gathers clinical insights, and supports the medical strategy for a specific therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals in line with company guidance.
• Educate HCPs on the company’s medicines, real‑world evidence, and clinical data to improve patient outcomes.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders, speakers, and decision makers.
• Collect and share customer insights internally to shape medical engagement strategies.
• Lead or support non‑interventional studies, partnerships, and investigator‑sponsored research.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and scientific literature.
• Present scientific data through live and virtual presentations.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.
• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical, clinical, or commercial).
• Strong understanding of industry codes, policies, and local regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and conflict‑management skills.
