Medical Doctor – Clinical Wellness & IV Therapy

About the role

GenX Clinics is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join its Cape Town clinic on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role focuses on delivering peptide, GLP‑1, and longevity‑focused wellness therapies, including IV and subcutaneous treatments, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations and assessments within the peptide and GLP‑1 wellness space.
• Oversee the safe administration of IV and subcutaneous treatments.
• Develop and support personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with South African healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance longevity and regenerative medicine initiatives.

Required profile

• Active medical license to practice in South Africa.
• Registered Private Medical Practitioner with CPD compliance.
• Valid medical indemnity insurance.
• Experience as a private GP or in an emergency unit.
• Commitment to patient safety, well‑being, and high‑quality care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically Health‑bridge.
• Ability to conduct virtual/online consultations.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and diagnostic abilities.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from R45 000 to R60 000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday 10 am‑6 pm, Saturday 10 am‑2 pm.
