Manufacturing Director

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and results‑driven Manufacturing Director to lead our national production operations. The role is responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving profitability, and building a best‑in‑class operating model across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee national production, implement performance measurement initiatives, and drive continuous innovation.
• Manage financial performance, optimise costs, and ensure service contracts are fulfilled.
• Develop a customer‑focused culture, align services with strategic standards, and leverage technology for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with governance, ISO standards, and health & safety policies.
• Motivate and manage national teams, deliver training programmes, and handle IR/HR matters.
• Produce daily production reports, benchmark outputs, and conduct regular site visits.
• Prepare monthly stakeholder presentations, report on operational performance, and manage SLAs.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects and additional responsibilities as directed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership with a proven track record of operational excellence.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align operations with strategic goals.
• Excellent people management skills and ability to foster collaboration across functions.
• Deep understanding of compliance, governance, and health & safety standards.
