Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist supports Hilti’s supply chain execution activities, including import/export, warehousing and transport. Working closely with internal and external partners, the role focuses on improving overall productivity and meeting customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with service providers to ensure on‑time import and export shipments.
• Manage all warehousing operations such as inbound processing, inventory control, outbound distribution and reverse logistics.
• Perform administrative tasks to align with customer business needs.
• Drive cost productivity, efficiency gains and service improvements using lean management tools.
• Adapt global standards to local market specifics.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to deliver superior service.
• Interpret, communicate and report on global KPIs and performance metrics.
• Oversee cost management and conduct audits to maintain risk‑mitigating controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of supply chain experience in distribution, warehousing or operational projects with proven performance improvements.
• Knowledge of import/export processes (advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Motivation, customer focus and ability to handle multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Willingness to work in both warehouse and office environments.
