Logistics Manager – Port Elizabeth

About the role

The Logistics Manager will oversee all inbound and outbound logistics within Vector's single depot in Port Elizabeth, ensuring seamless operations across our temperature‑controlled network. You will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and other business functions to deliver an integrated supply‑chain solution.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and execute the regional operations strategy with a 1‑to‑3‑year outlook.
• Drive improvements in warehouse and transport processes to optimise efficiency.
• Plan medium‑ and long‑term capacity, asset utilisation and capital expenditure.
• Design and optimise warehouse layout and flow based on growth opportunities.
• Identify supply‑chain bottlenecks and develop collaborative solutions.
• Monitor and achieve strategic and operational targets for the depot.
• Conduct weekly management meetings to review performance and plan improvements.
• Maintain accurate weekly and five‑week planning forecasts.
• Integrate business systems to support logistics processes.
• Control stock quality, quantity, cost and efficiency across the depot.
• Lead stock loss reduction programmes and reverse‑logistics improvements.
• Optimise vehicle fleet routes and utilisation between depots.
• Provide system support to internal and external customers.
• Drive the logistics team on a daily basis.
