About the role
Premier Port Elizabeth Depot is seeking a reliable Loader to join the team. Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient loading and off‑loading of bread shipments at the depot on a six‑day work week.
Key responsibilities
- Load and off‑load bread according to the established SOPs.
- Follow the pipeline loading/off‑loading sequence and ensure correct tray count and balance in each truck.
- Attend daily inventory communications (invocoms) and verify that only quality bread is handled.
- Maintain proper stock rotation using FIFO principles.
- Report any loading/off‑loading issues to the off‑load supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- At least 3 months of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work six days a week and follow instructions from the Dispatch Supervisor.
