Lecturer & Module Coordinator – Mechatronic Engineering

About the role

STADIO Higher Education is seeking a Lecturer and Module Coordinator for its Mechatronic Engineering programme. The role combines teaching, curriculum development and assessment moderation, supporting both on‑site and online delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Mechatronic Engineering lectures in‑venue and online.
• Provide feedback to students, coordinate lecturers and programme coordinators to improve teaching and learning.
• Assess student work, moderate assessments internally and manage the module Q&A forum.
• Maintain consultation hours, support students at risk and contribute to student induction.
• Develop, review and update study guides and ensure alignment with prescribed textbooks.
• Draft formal assessments, conduct pre‑moderation, appoint moderators and oversee marking processes.
• Participate in programme, school and campus meetings, recruitment activities and community engagement initiatives.
• Stay current with developments in Mechatronic Engineering and teaching methodologies, and engage in professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in Mechatronic Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience delivering higher‑education lectures both in‑person and online.
• Ability to design, moderate and evaluate assessments and study materials.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and scholarly teaching practice.
