Lecturer and Module Coordinator – Electrical Engineering

About the role

STADIO is seeking an experienced academic to join its Electrical Engineering faculty as both Lecturer and Module Coordinator. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching in‑venue and online, while overseeing the design, development and assessment of module study guides.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Electrical Engineering lectures both on‑site and virtually.
• Provide timely feedback to students and coordinate with programme leads to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess student work, moderate assessments, and manage the module Q&A forum.
• Support students at risk, contribute to induction activities and participate in recruitment processes.
• Develop, review and update study guides, ensuring alignment with prescribed textbooks and new editions.
• Draft formal assessments, conduct pre‑moderation, and oversee marking with internal and external moderators.
• Analyse assessment results, sign off outcomes and report on cross‑campus performance.
• Engage in professional development, community initiatives and stay current with advances in Electrical Engineering and pedagogy.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering lectures in‑person and online.
• Experience in module coordination, assessment design and moderation.
• Ability to develop and update study guides and teaching materials.
• Strong commitment to student support and continuous improvement of teaching practice.
