About the role
The Retail Readiness Programme is a learnership offered by the Shoprite Group to equip young South Africans with basic retail skills. It combines three weeks of classroom theory with four weeks of practical, in‑store training, culminating in an NQF Level 2 certificate.
Key responsibilities
- Complete classroom and on‑site training modules.
- Perform retail duties such as stock control and customer service in Shoprite, Checkers or Usave stores.
Required profile
- South African citizen aged 18–34.
- Minimum Grade 10 education (matric advantageous).
- No prior work experience required.
