Learning Facilitator, Personal & Private Banking

About the role

Liberty, part of Standard Bank Group, is looking for a Facilitator, Learning, Personal & Private Banking in Cape Town. The role shapes the learning and development landscape within the Personal & Private Banking division by designing and delivering tailored learning programmes that meet business needs and inform the Centre of Expertise (CoE).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate engaging learning experiences, evaluate content and delivery methods, and use digital tools for quick deployment.
• Support e-learners in completing their programmes and guide them in applying what they learn.
• Partner with learning architects, designers and other stakeholders to market learning opportunities consistently.
• Conduct assessments and moderations for internally delivered qualifications in line with quality standards and governing body requirements.
• Evaluate the impact of learning on the business and give feedback on programme effectiveness.
• Curate information on business changes and updates to feed sustainable learning journeys.
• Facilitate learning solutions across geographies and business units using appropriate pedagogy, and support campaigns by preparing presentation and supporting material content.

Required profile

• NQF Level 6 qualification in a relevant field such as Human Resources Management, Behavioural Science, Social Science or Business.
• Facilitation, Assessor and Moderator certifications.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the learning and development sector, including a track record of facilitating programmes and working with SETAs.
• Clear articulation, attention to detail, persuasive communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Learning facilitation and assessor/moderator practice.
• Understanding of learning evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to develop strategies, direct individuals and work collaboratively in teams.
