Lead Developer - Full Stack

About the role

Tracker is seeking a Lead Developer to head the Technology Department’s internal systems initiatives. The role combines technical leadership, architecture design, and hands‑on development to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for internal systems products, guiding teams and, when needed, managing staff.
• Align delivery with Tracker’s strategy, ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Define and design architecture and technical implementations, collaborating with architects and other leads.
• Enforce best‑practice development processes, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to testing standards.
• Complete work orders, maintain existing systems without introducing defects, and document enhancements.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing knowledge across development and support teams.
• Participate in strategic initiatives such as salary reviews and cross‑team projects.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma with at least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Self‑starter with an outgoing personality and strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex solutions.

Required skills

• C# with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF/SOAP services
• JavaScript, TypeScript, ASP.NET AJAX
• Telerik Kendo UI, Xamarin/.NET MAUI (beneficial)
• Windows Services development
• Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019), complex SQL, views, stored procedures
• Entity Framework 6 & Core, Dapper
• Oracle database (experience)
• API integrations (REST, XML, JSON, SOAP), RabbitMQ
• Integration platforms – Boomi (highly preferred)
• Azure DevOps – sprint/backlog management, CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud technologies, IIS configuration, unit testing frameworks
