About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member and help deliver nutritious breakfast and lunch options across our Midwest locations. You will work on a variety of kitchen stations, support serving lines, and assist with occasional catering events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion breakfast and lunch items according to Opaa! recipes and menu plans.
• Set up and maintain serving lines, ensuring food is held at safe temperatures.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Perform dishwashing duties, monitor chemical usage, and keep equipment in good condition.
• Bake breads, cakes, cookies and other items as required by the menu.
• Record hot and cold food temperatures and complete HACCP logs.
• Participate in safety programs, meetings and required training.

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional catering events.
• Adherence to Opaa!’s core values and safety policies.
