Junior Transport Operations Coordinator

About the role

Coach Rentals is seeking a proactive and organised Junior Transport Operations Coordinator to support daily bus dispatch and ensure smooth transport operations. You will work on‑site in Pretoria, coordinating schedules, bookings and vehicle readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily dispatch of buses according to operational schedules.
• Support daily transport activities and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Capture and manage quotations and bookings accurately.
• Ensure all bookings are correctly recorded and updated.
• Prepare buses to be clean, road‑ready and compliant with safety standards before leaving the depot.
• Communicate pick‑up and drop‑off details to drivers and confirm route understanding.
• Monitor daily operations and assist with operational planning and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Follow company procedures, policies and operational standards.
• Perform general operational and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Own reliable transport.
• Flexible to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented, on‑site collaboration and adaptability.
• Previous experience in transport, logistics or tourism is an advantage but not required.
