About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer to join our engineering solutions team in Johannesburg. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on diverse mechanical engineering projects while supporting senior managers in a fast‑paced, technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers with planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects.
• Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Monitor and track project milestones and key performance indicators.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem‑solving and decision‑making processes.

Required profile

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering (essential).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or a related engineering role.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with project management software.
