Junior Electronic Design Engineer

About the role

Join Epiroc as a Junior Electronic Design Engineer and support the creation, testing and maintenance of electronic systems and components. Working under senior engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience in circuit design, prototype development and lab testing while contributing to innovative product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing electronic circuits, systems and prototypes.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layout and component selection.
• Conduct testing, debugging, validation and compliance testing under supervision.
• Participate in prototype assembly, troubleshooting and iterative improvements.
• Document designs, test results and technical procedures for traceability.
• Maintain and organise lab equipment, tools and work areas.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, mechanical, production).
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives in design processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects in electronics are considered).
• Exposure to lab testing and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters is advantageous.
