About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team in Atlantis, Cape Town. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, solving customer queries and chasing outstanding payments, this role offers you a chance to make a tangible impact on cash flow.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile customer accounts accurately.
- Manage collections and reduce outstanding debt.
- Resolve customer queries and claims.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor credit risk.
- Process claims and remittances.
- Keep debtor accounts up to date.
- Support the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics sectors.
- Strong reconciliation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping.
