Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team in Atlantis, Cape Town. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, solving customer queries and chasing outstanding payments, this role offers you a chance to make a tangible impact on cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer accounts accurately.
• Manage collections and reduce outstanding debt.
• Resolve customer queries and claims.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor credit risk.
• Process claims and remittances.
• Keep debtor accounts up to date.
• Support the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics sectors.
• Strong reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping.
