Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team in Atlantis. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate customer accounts, handling collections, and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer accounts with precision.
• Manage collections and work to reduce outstanding debt.
• Resolve customer queries, claims, and disputes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Monitor credit risk and ensure compliance.
• Process claims and remittances accurately.
• Keep debtor accounts up‑to‑date.
• Support the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping or a related field.
• Strong reconciliation abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Pastel Evolution accounting software.
• Microsoft Excel.
