IT Audit Manager - Fixed Term Contract

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an IT Audit Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Midrand. The role sits within the Audit & Assurance practice and supports the Engagement team in delivering services to and at client premises on delegated engagements or projects. It involves evaluating and verifying an organisation's IT controls and processes independently, assessing the reliability, integrity and security of IT systems, infrastructure and data against industry standards, laws, regulations and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Engagement team in delivering services to and at client premises on delegated engagements or projects.
• Plan and execute IT audit engagements, IT control testing and technology assurance.
• Evaluate and verify IT controls and processes, assessing the reliability, integrity and security of IT systems, infrastructure and data.
• Prepare audit reports, identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation.
• Manage junior team members and review their work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science or similar.
• 4-6 years of external IT audit working experience.
• Demonstrated interest in IT and Specialised Assurance.
• Knowledgeable in ERP systems and IT Governance.
• Available immediately or from December 2026, preferably.
