Internal Medicine Specialist – International Clinic – Hanoi

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Internal Medicine Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at a Family Medical Center in Hanoi. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based care to adult patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, both local residents and international visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders, and infections.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests including laboratory work, ECGs, X‑rays, and ultrasound imaging.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient outcomes.
• Provide preventive health advice, lifestyle counseling, and ongoing management for complex or chronic cases.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Valid medical license with a Good Standing Certificate issued within the past two years.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in internal medicine within a hospital or medical center.
• Experience managing chronic diseases and complex internal medicine cases.
• Additional exposure to cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, or infectious disease is advantageous.
