Infrastructure Support Engineer – Hybrid (Woodmead/Stellenbosch)

About the role

The Infrastructure Support Engineer will provide advanced technical support for server, networking and internet‑related issues within Cyberlogic’s fast‑paced, enterprise‑level Managed Services environment. Working on‑site in Woodmead or Stellenbosch and remotely as needed, the engineer will ensure a stable and secure IT infrastructure for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents that exceed lower‑level support capabilities.
• Lead post‑incident root‑cause analysis (RCA) for high‑impact client incidents.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Technical Leader to identify recurring problems and implement permanent fixes.
• Drive infrastructure change initiatives, including server and network upgrades.
• Mentor junior team members and promote proactive problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure support within an enterprise setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve intricate issues.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
