Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Infrastructure Administrator to join our global enterprise team in South Africa. The role involves managing Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Office 365, VMware and the broader network and storage environment, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Office 365 and VMware virtual environment.
• Manage the ticket queue, own tickets from creation to resolution and meet SLA targets.
• Create and maintain virtual machines, user accounts, groups and access controls.
• Implement change requests, including standard, common and emergency changes.
• Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities and apply patches.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to improve service levels and share knowledge.
• Perform data‑center operations, storage management and hardware maintenance.

Required profile

• BSc/BE in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of IT administration experience, including Linux and Kubernetes.
• Proven problem‑solving skills in complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ManageEngine ServiceDesk).
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.
