Indirect Buyer – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

The Indirect Buyer will support IMSAf’s Procurement and Logistics Department by managing the acquisition of indirect goods and services, with a focus on media and advertising. This role ensures that all purchases meet the organisation’s standards for governance, quality, service, technology and price.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, coordinate and audit contracts for indirect procurement, including media, advertising and related services.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with governance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new requirements and align procurement strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and support transformation initiatives.
• Ensure cost‑effectiveness while meeting service and technology specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in indirect procurement or purchasing.
• Understanding of governance, quality, and service standards in a corporate environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple contracts.
• Commitment to the IMSAf Employment Equity Plan and relevant qualifications.
