Inbound Telesales Representative

About the role

Xe is seeking dynamic and motivated Inbound Sales Representatives to join its expanding team in Johannesburg. As a Junior Associate, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, understanding their needs and creating sales opportunities for Xe’s currency and payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from potential and existing customers, providing information, answering queries, and qualifying sales opportunities.
• Promote Xe’s products and services, tailoring messages to each caller’s specific needs.
• Convert qualified leads into sales, guiding customers through the sales process and ensuring smooth transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and follow‑up actions in Zendesk.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to ensure seamless handoffs and support overall sales goals.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Adhere to standard processes and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the currency market and payment services industry.

Required profile

• High level of English proficiency.
• Experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Interest in financial services.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
