ICT Manager - Johannesburg North

About the role

The ICT Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Brand South Africa's Information and Communications Technology function in Johannesburg North. The role ensures that technology infrastructure, systems, information, digital platforms and ICT services support the organisation's strategic mandate and operational needs, working closely with the Director: Corporate Services and all Brand South Africa portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the ICT strategy and manage technology infrastructure and systems
• Ensure information and cybersecurity, support digital transformation and manage ICT risks and service providers
• Deliver secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose technology solutions to employees
• Manage ICT strategy, infrastructure and systems, service delivery and user support, cybersecurity, data management and information governance
• Lead digital transformation, cloud and digital workplace technologies, risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery
• Manage projects, procurement and vendor management, technology assets and licenses, budget and stakeholder engagement
• Manage ICT policies, procedures and user awareness, and lead team management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Relevant ICT governance, cybersecurity, project management or IT service management certification
• At least 5-8 years' experience in ICT, Information Technology or Information Systems
• At least 3 years' experience in an ICT management or senior ICT role
• Strategic, business-oriented approach; strong leadership and people management capability; ability to turn complex technical concepts into practical business solutions
