Human Resources Manager

About the role

The medical company, specializing in acute, chronic and preventative care, seeks a dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions across its Johannesburg, Pretoria and KwaZulu‑Natal clinics. The role involves full‑cycle HR responsibilities and frequent travel between sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of doctors, dentists and therapists.
• Prepare and manage employment contracts and agreements.
• Conduct disciplinary hearings and represent the company in CCMA cases.
• Administer payroll and ensure accurate processing.
• Generate HR reports and present updates at management meetings.
• Collaborate with Practice Managers and attend site meetings.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Diploma or degree in Human Resources.
• 5–7 years of HR management experience, preferably in a medical environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans; additional African languages are a plus.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
