HR Business Partner – Johannesburg

About the role

Regenesys Business School is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support and ensure alignment between HR practices and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the employee life‑cycle, from onboarding through probation reviews, promotions, transfers and exits.
• Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration and ensure compliance with tax and statutory regulations.
• Develop and implement annual training plans, monitor impact and maintain mandatory training records.
• Guide line managers on disciplinary, grievance and incapacity matters; represent the company in CCMA cases.
• Participate in job grading, salary benchmarking and prepare increase/bonus communications.
• Maintain accurate HR records, conduct background checks and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
• Compile and submit annual employment equity reports and chair the equity committee.
• Support change management initiatives with proactive communication.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or related field (Honours preferred).
• 3‑5 years experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Experience in payroll management.
• Exposure to the education sector or professional services industry.
• Experience working with employees and management across multiple entities.
