HR Administrator

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to manage the full spectrum of human resources activities. The role is office‑based in Cape Town and offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, testing and reporting.
• Maintain employee records, handle payroll, leave, and training administration, and generate related reports.
• Collaborate with the Training & Development team to assess and deliver skills development programmes.
• Use HR information systems to record, plan and manage organisational human resources data.
• Provide advice on personnel policies, equal opportunity, anti‑discrimination and employee assistance programmes.
• Guide performance management processes and support managers and staff.
• Oversee industrial relations matters, including disciplinary and rehabilitation procedures.

Required profile

• HR‑related qualification.
• 3–5 years proven experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, best practices and South African labour regulations (BCEA, LRA, SDA).
• Excellent written communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Salary range R15,000 – R20,000 CTC per month.
