About the role
Mukuru is seeking a strategic Skills Development Partner to lead the design, execution and governance of its learning and compliance programmes. The role will ensure alignment with the company’s talent development vision while meeting South African legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain full compliance with the Skills Development Act, NQF, SAQA, BBBEE and related labour laws.
- Partner with business leaders and HR to align the Workplace Skills Plan with strategic objectives.
- Identify critical skills gaps and design learnership, internship and apprenticeship programmes.
- Manage SETA relationships, submit Workplace Skills Plans, Annual Training Reports and grant applications.
- Oversee statutory reporting, build dashboards and use data insights to optimise learning investments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related field.
- Registered Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) accreditation.
- Minimum 5 years experience in skills development or L&D, including WSP/ATR submissions.
- Proven experience working with SETAs and BBBEE scorecard compliance.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- PowerPoint for creating executive presentations.
- Dashboard creation and data visualisation.
- Project management and change enablement.
