HR Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join a vibrant, up‑market restaurant group in Umhlanga. The successful candidate will support people, processes and organisational growth in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage industrial relations processes, including performance management, disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with SETA authorities.
• Administer employee benefits such as Provident Fund and Medical Aid.
• Oversee leave management, attendance and time‑keeping systems.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and preparation of employment contracts and offer letters.
• Support training and development initiatives across the organisation.
• Update, communicate and train staff on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist managers with disciplinary code implementation and provide guidance.
• Provide payroll support and related HR administration.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
• Strong knowledge of current labour legislation and CCMA procedures.
• High levels of confidentiality, resilience and professional credibility.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
