About the role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor on a cruise line, you will lead the housekeeping team to ensure guest cabins and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and order in a fast‑paced maritime environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Inspect guest cabins and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to cleanliness, maintenance, or guest complaints promptly.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, seeking resolution and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the Housekeeping Manager and coordinate reordering as needed.
- Provide ongoing training and support to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to company standards.
Required profile
- Grade 12 education.
- South African passport.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
