Hotel Administrator – Financial & HR Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Hotel Administrator to manage the financial, human‑resources and operational administration of a well‑established hotel. The role supports the General Manager and ensures smooth day‑to‑day processes across payroll, banking, inventory and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process time and attendance, maintain HR documentation and coordinate employee leave.
• Oversee banking activities, cash reconciliations, petty cash, supplier payments and inventory control.
• Track revenue, handle guest refunds and assist with financial reporting and audits.
• Allocate payments, follow up on outstanding debtor and creditor accounts and liaise with Head Office.
• Maintain records, compile reports, support audit preparation and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager, assist with budgeting and uphold health & safety protocols.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate and a relevant diploma.
• 4‑5 years of experience in bookkeeping and administration.
• Strong communication skills and self‑motivated attitude.
• Experience in HR administration is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Pastel accounting software.
• Familiarity with Xero accounting platform.
• PC literacy.
