About the role
The International Hotel School seeks a passionate Higher Education Lecturer to inspire and educate the next generation of hospitality professionals. You will deliver engaging, industry‑relevant content and support students’ personal and professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, industry‑relevant lectures and practical sessions.
- Guide students toward successful careers in the hospitality sector.
- Nurture personal and professional development of learners.
Required profile
- NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential).
- Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial).
- Scoped by CATHSSETA (beneficial).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant practical industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and strong administrative ability.
- Curriculum development and assessment expertise.
- Proven record of student throughput and pass rates.
