Higher Education Lecturer – Hospitality

About the role
We are looking for a passionate Higher Education Lecturer to join the International Hotel School’s Cape Town campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging hospitality courses, mentor students and keep the curriculum aligned with current industry practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive lessons that meet industry standards.
- Mentor and support students in their academic progress and career planning.
- Monitor hospitality trends and integrate relevant updates into teaching material.
- Collaborate with academic staff to continuously improve curriculum and student experience.
Required profile
- NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential).
- At least 5 years of practical hospitality industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience in higher education.
- Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial) and/or scoped by CATHSSETA (beneficial).
Required skills
- Proficiency with relevant computer software and strong administrative abilities.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment processes.
