Health Representative – Primary Care (Johannesburg North & Mpumalanga)

About the role

The Health Representative – Primary Care will promote Pfizer’s primary‑care portfolio across Johannesburg North and Mpumalanga. You will engage healthcare professionals both in‑person and virtually, delivering science‑based brand messages that support better patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with HCPs, providing compliant product information and digital solutions.
• Deliver promotional and disease‑state content tailored to each HCP’s preferences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Pfizer subject‑matter experts and onboarding to digital engagement platforms.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan, track activities, and report barriers.
• Identify innovative ideas to increase market share and organise value‑added programs.
• Capture and share market intelligence and customer insights through approved systems.
• Ensure compliance with Pfizer policies, record interactions in PforceRx, maintain an accurate customer list and manage expense submissions within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (relevant field).
• 3‑5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proven selling and presentation skills in both virtual and face‑to‑face settings.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and work collaboratively.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and compliance awareness.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to travel and work non‑standard hours.
