Head of Finance

About the role

The market‑leading manufacturing group is looking for a Head of Finance to own financial reporting, controls and governance across a complex multi‑entity structure. This senior position offers strategic exposure to senior leadership while driving financial excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full financial reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and annual statements.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Review consolidations and inter‑company transactions for accuracy.
• Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and financial procedures.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the executive committee and senior management.
• Manage treasury, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) designation.
• Minimum 4‑7 years post‑articles experience.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, controls and leading a finance function.
• Strong exposure to consolidations and multi‑entity environments.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous.
