Head of Alumni Relations & Learning Partnerships

About the role

The Head of Alumni Relations & Learning Partnerships is a senior commercial leader responsible for building, activating and monetising Regenesys' global alumni community. The role combines relationship building, intelligence gathering and revenue generation to create strategic learning and development partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and continuously enrich a centralised, CRM‑integrated alumni database with verification protocols and compliance to POPIA/GDPR.
• Develop and execute a multi‑channel alumni engagement strategy, including digital platforms, events, regional chapters and an annual alumni conference.
• Identify alumni in L&D, HR or executive roles as warm commercial prospects and manage a pipeline of corporate L&D opportunities with clear revenue targets.
• Negotiate and close enterprise agreements for corporate training, RPL programmes and bulk enrolments, reporting monthly revenue contribution.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with high‑value alumni, professional associations and industry bodies, representing Regenesys at external events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, HR or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8–10 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in business development, sales or commercial relationship management.
• Proven B2B sales track record selling training, consulting or professional services to corporate clients.
• Experience in higher education, corporate training or L&D environments is highly advantageous.

• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent).
• Data hygiene, segmentation and analytics.
• Consultative selling, proposal writing and contract negotiation.
• Stakeholder mapping and senior executive engagement.
